Chelsea FC Set To Expand Home Ground

Premier League defending champions, Chelsea FC has announced that the club has reached an agreement with Crosthwaite family to continue expansion work at Stamford Bridge.

The Crosthwaite family had prevented the 60,000 capacity expansion through a court injunction in May 2017 stating that it will block light into their home.

Following the suit, the Hammersmith and Fulham Council passed a motion to prevent the injunction blocking the plans but Chelsea has now come out to say that they have settled the dispute with their neighbours.

The Stadium expansion work is said to cost the Premier League defending champions £1Billion.

The Blues are expected to continue playing their 2019-2020 season game in Stamford Bridge, before moving to an alternative venue for up to four years during the construction that will see Stamford Bridge expand from forty-one thousand to 60,000.
